Jingle Bell Beach
A Christmas Singing Competition of Pitch Perfect Proportion
Once again it’s that time of year, when aspiring young vocal groups nationwide make their way to JINGLE BELL BEACH for the famous Jingle Sing competition. The final contestants for this year’s competition are: The Snowflakes, the Starfish and the Electrons. When a storm ruins the contestants’ plans for getting home in time for Christmas, it becomes clear that one contestant is struggling to understand the true meaning of Christmas. As the others share the story of Jesus, the spirit of the competition quickly transforms into the wonderful spirit of Christmas!
Parent Information:
All students must be in Kindergarten through 5th grade to participate. All participants are expected to attend all practices and rehearsals. Please discuss the commitment required with your student before signing up to participate. If you have any questions please email NextKids@whiteflag.church.
CD/Digital Download
Each family will need to purchase a CD or Digital Download for $10 to help their child work on the musical at home during the week. Order your choice via the registration link.
Costumes
All students will need to provide their own costumes. Some cost may be required. An email with costume details for each student will be provided at a later date.
Speaking Parts
Auditions for speaking parts will be held on Sunday, September 17th, 11:45am-1:30pm in the Worship Center. Students should bring a lunch each week. You will not need to check your student out after the 10:30am service. Students should come prepared to act out Scene 3 provided via the registration link. Speaking parts will be assigned based on character descriptions and acting ability. Parents will be emailed the cast list by Thursday, September 21st.
Solos
Auditions for singing solos will be Sunday, November 5th, 11:45am-2:00pm during our normal practice time. All characters and choir members will have the opportunity to audition for a singing solo. Parents will be notified if their child has been selected to sing a solo.
Practices
All Sunday practices are from 11:45-2:00 PM. Drop off and pick up in the Next Kids Clubhouse on the lower level. Students should bring a lunch each week. You will not need to check your student out after the 10:30am service.

Treats for Practices
We like to celebrate the end of every practice with a treat. If you are able to provide the treat for one of our practices, please email NextKids@whiteflag.church. Any cookies, cupcakes, candy, and/or juice boxes are great. No peanut products, please.
