Bible Story:

Breakfast on the Beach (John 21:1-14).

Basic Truth:
Jesus wants to be my friend forever.

Memory Verse:
“How wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ.” Ephesians 3:18

Say This:
Who wants to be your friend forever? Jesus wants to be my friend forever.

Pray This:
Dear God, thank You for giving us Jesus. He is the best friend ever. Thank You for the Bible and all of the true stories that teach us how great a friend Jesus is. We love how Jesus made fish and bread for breakfast for His friends. Thank You for sending Jesus to be our friend forever. We love You, God. In Jesus’ name, amen.

Bible Story:

As we look at Colossians 3:15, we see that because Jesus made peace with us, we can make peace with others.

Ask This:
Who do you need to make peace with?

Bottom Line:
We can make peace with others. When God made peace with us through Jesus, He showed us that peace with others is possible. This doesn’t mean it will be easy, but peace is worth the effort!

Remember This- Memory Verse:
“So let us do all we can to live in peace. And let us work hard to build up one another.” Romans 14:19

Momentum

No Matter What is a series that celebrates the best news of the Easter season: the fact that Jesus’ death and resurrection shows us just how much we’re loved, valued, and forgiven by God, no matter what! Because middle schoolers developmentally have a hard time understanding abstract concepts, narratives or examples are helpful in making those concepts more concrete. That’s why in this series, we look at the lives and stories of three different Biblical figures to illustrate the way in which something that may be hard to grasp (like the resurrection of Jesus) impacts their lives in big ways today.

Epic

A teen’s view of God has been shaped by lots of different factors—what they see on social media or hear from other adults—and there isn’t one consistent image. Most of us tend to see God as being more about rules than grace, or a judge waiting to strike us down. In this series we will take a look at the Resurrection. The Resurrection gives us a perfect look at who God is, how he loves us, and how he sees us.
