When someone says that “Jesus is King” what goes through your mind? Was it just a good fable? Could it be true? Thousands of years ago, the nation of Israel was promised a coming King. This King was not just another king. He was to be THE King and His kingdom will be an eternal kingdom. If that is true and Jesus fulfilled what was promised, our posture should be to worship and learn more about Him. So why do we celebrate Easter? Because instead of coming to earth in a blaze of glory, he came as a helpless baby. The world didn’t need just another power leader. The world needed a compassionate, righteous King, one who loved His people so much He was willing to lay down His life for them! You’re invited to join us as we explore what Jesus did for you and us.
